Server Attacked: IF ANY USERNAMES PLEASE POST

Hackers or recently added mods have hacked the server and banned many users. They have disbanded all factions and set spawn as a lava pit. coolisushi and fubzey both logged on and did nothing about the hack problem while it happened infront of their eyes (unless those were their hacked accounts or they had something to do with it.)
They changed their usernames to nicknames to hide. Please assist.

It just happened about a half hour ago. I was there when it had happened and was banned too >_>

oh god! I hope it can be fixed. Those damn griefers! How can they possibly hack the server? I don't think they have life.. Anyway, I think that it would be handy if nobody could use nicknames, what if this happenes again? Or if someone is spamming/griefing/yelling bad things etc, whithout the username, other players can't do anything or tell the mods who did it, because those persons can change their nickname any time..

btw, I don't know if I'm banned, because I can't enter the server..

yeh, minecraft says can't reach server. trying to join anyway gets me stuck at logging in part.

the voting/minestatus thing says server is up though and that there are 8 players. Somehow one way or another, i don't quite believe that minestatus thing.

And if anyone was innocently banned, you should do an appeal thread on the forum and hopefully Dubzy will see it, because he seems to be the only person that unbans from thread that I can see, if not we will probably just have to wait until Fubzey gets back from holiday.

I will do that. I've knew that someone would hack the server again. They must have the guts to deal with me. One the see me I will ban the shit out of the griefers.

except i think there are a few typos. server voting page states following names.

abint, BananaBrennan1, dylanator293, ian11542, jonahtaco, JPaneque, skaterdjdude, The_Cactus_King

the list is shorter but... well, i believe those were on when server was shut down since names refuse to refresh out.

whitelist would be great but the amount of people joining the server would decrease
so we would have to advertise in many places

we could always get better security
somehow

i agree totally with whitelist, but it is such a pain registering a form and so many emails and stuff. not that many people like it, but still makes sure we have a less chance of getting hacked.
