well.. there has been griefing and then there has been griefing.
few walls broken here or there... not so much big deal. and claiming land as faction property stops that? right?
not so, no.
if Griefers make a faction, they can claim other factions land then break it and unclaim. or not unclaim. either works.
Later solution works especially well in areas where other players have chests. chests become unusable since using chests in other factions areas is not allowed.
can they loot chests? i'm not sure. can they block original owner from accessing their own chests? yes.
and... pics or it didn't happen, right?
so, basically... since it WAS nogriefers area and area changed owner and was griefed... i can be pretty certain if i say that said Overlords faction consists or has griefers.
oh and my 3 chests upstairs are locked to me but inaccessible since area belongs to overlords now.
also on unrelated note... i've so far found one deep 1x1 hole.. all the way down and through bedrock. this would supposedly be impossible without creative mode, right? well.. if it was just a hole, getting back down with /back or digging there again to regain items would be possible. out of map? not so much, no.
