    Or if you have to fly somewhere, or id you need to get somewhere faster than your feet can take you. And it'd make a good base itself.

    cant have "flying bases"
    don't know if it would apply for airship

    Yes you can, if the airship's big enough.... 2000 blocks is plenty for a good base. Just no floating towers.
    But the base floats, so everything is more awesome. Smile

    lol to support an airship of 2000 blocks you need like 1300 wool

    not really.

    build a farm. get a few sheep inside.. build a few shears. clip for half hour and you have that.

    really. sheep regrow the wool so fast that if you have 20 (not a problem, there is a field with billion of them) of them... you can't reach last one before first has regrown it all.

    besides that, i oppose flying monstrosities.
